COMMUNITY LIVING CAMP - FORWARD 2018

INTRODUCTION
            The two year B Ed curriculum envisage a community living camp. Our college have choose Empowerment as a theme. The camp aimed to bring many qualities like togetherness, sharing and all round development of prospective teachers.
THEME OF THE CAMP
            The theme of the camp "FORWARD - 2018" was ' EMPOWERMENT THROUGH EDUCATION' .
OBJECTIVES OF THE CAMP
*  To promote social accommodation and broaden the mental abilities of the student teachers.
* To promote the democratic nature and involvement of the student teachers in planning and implementing educational activities.
*  To develop critical thinking about the issues related to the approaches in education.
* To inquire into the cultural, social, scientific, educational and environmental aspects of a community.
*  To develop an interest to learn the body and mind for a well balanced personality.
REFLECTION ABOUT THE CAMP
             This camp was a great success. These three days were beautiful as far as this two year course is concerned. The time we spent with our friends and teachers is quite memorable. It was a nice  experience to work and play with friends. It helped us to build up confidence. The sessions made us think creatively and critically. Community living camp helps the students in understanding the core of rural life, their problems, needs and help them in preparing a plan for social work practice and community development.

                          Twenty fifth day of teaching practice reached the school and joined the prayer meeting of staffs. After the students prayer start the class. I had class at second and third period on 8D. Taught the concept of area of isosceles trapezium through concept attainment model. Shows positive and negative examples of the concept. Students tabulated the features of examples and identity the concept.                          Thank God for granting a new year. Started the journey to school with prosperous and hopeful thoughts. Reached the school attended the prayer meeting of staffs. Their is a special assembly that arranged. The main guest of the assembly was Rev.
